About: Hello!
My name is Annie, and these are the things that I love most. I try to do a What I wore post every now and then. Enjoy.

What I wore

I think I would sacrifice my first born child to own this dress (not really, but it’s so adorable. I mean chevrons and sequins, come on!). I would love to wear it for my graduation, coming up this December (OMG!) under my robe for after parties and pics. Guess I’m going to have to start saving or start begging/sweet talking my mother to gift it to me ;)

Here’s a little outfit I whipped up last night. It’s been raining like cats and dogs this whole past week, so I thought this outfit was appropriate. I was especially inspired by this super cute umbrella top and those vivid pants. Wouldn’t they be great pieces to get your spring started with a burst of color?
1. Rainy day pullover, Antrhopologie  2. Jones wide-leg pant, Anthropology 3. Loafer flats in Turquoise, Target 4. Nars Lipstick in Heat Wave  5. Philosophy, Field of Flowers scent (really is like walking in a huge field of wildflowers, smells so good!) 6. Essie Polish in Go Overboard 7. French word Studs, Topshop 8. Modern Contrast Bangles, F21

My Daily Beauty Routine
I received a question about what makeup I use, and I thought I would whip up a little polyvore image to show you what my beauty routine looks like. I try to keep things pretty minimal for my daily look. If I’m going out or have a special event to attend, I love to play with my makeup and try new things! I have a ton of eye shadows and lipsticks at home that I like to break out every once in a while, but I thought I would stick to my daily look.
1. To start out with a clean slate, I use wonderful Yon-ka products for my face wash and moisturizers. My mom started using Yon-ka a few years ago and recently got me on their products, and my skin has changed drastically. I used to have really bad, painful acne but now my skin is normal! (Sorry for sounding like a proactive commercial, but this stuff really does great things) 2. My skin still isn’t perfect though, so I like to cover dark circles, scars, spots etc. with Benefit’s Stay Don’t Stray. It’s a primer for concealers, but I find it works fine as a concealer itself. Since it’s a primer, It lasts a long time, and has a really nice consistency. 3. Next I use  Bare Minerals original foundation in Fairly light. It has an SPF, and it goes on very quickly and evenly. 4. For my cheeks I like to use either Bare Minerals blush in fruit cocktail, which is a shimmery coral pink, or I use 5. Neutrogena healthy skin blends bronzer. Both give great natural looking color. 6. I don’t always wear eyeshadow, but when I do I really like Clinique’s color surge eyeshadow quad in Choco-latte. You can use just one color, or blend them depending on your mood or activities for the day. The colors are really rich and have just enough sparkle that’s appropriate for day. 7. Next, I like to highlight my non-existent cheek bones with Benefit High Beam. It’s a really great standard illuminator. It comes in a large quantity, so you’ll never run out since a little goes a long way. I use it for my cheeks, eyes, lips, where ever you want some dewy looking shine. 8. I’ve tried a lot of different mascaras, from drug store, to department store, but I always find myself going back to Cilnique brand mascara. I used to be a big fan of Lash Blast, but I found that it kept drying up in the tube, which never happens with Clinique mascara. I’m currently using the lash doubling formula. 9. To finish Off my face I use my Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing lip color balm in Mega Melon. It gives a subtle color and is really creamy and actually moisturizes! If I’m feeling daring for the day, I go for 10. Sephora Collection Rouge Cream Lipstick in It Girl, which is a vibrant Coral/Tangerine Red. I like this lipstick because It goes on matte, you don’t have to use a pencil before hand, and it doesn’t stick to your teeth like some reds are notorious for. 11. To finish off, I give a little spritz of Clean’s original fragrance (lives up to it’s name, smells clean and fresh!) to my neck and wrists and I’m out the door.

Now that you’ve read my novel on my beauty routine, I hope you go out there and try some of these products for yourself, and it inspires you to add something new to your own routine!

Anonymous asked: What kind of makeup do you use/what is your routine?

This is a great question, thanks for asking! I just made a little image to go along with a post on the beauty products I use daily and love.

Have you checked out the released looks by Jason Wu in his collection for Target?
Aren’t they just charming? I’m personally favoring the yellow dress top far left, The patterned dress mid center, The striped far left bottom, and the White on the bottom far right. But they are all chic looks. Would you ever think these looks were from Target? Which looks are your favorites?
The line hits stores February 5th, and you can bet they will be gone like hot cakes, so mark your calendar!

As of late I’ve been getting back into the grove of school and haven’t been posting much, but I plan on making it a priority this year dedicate more time to this blog.

I’ve also been suffering from some major winter blahs, but these Madewell spring preview looks just bring warm fuzzies to my heart! I just love the pops of color, and the casual laid back feel of these outfits. Isn’t that plaid shirt a dreamy color combination? I know I’m going to start a piggy bank for these really cute sandals.

I just can’t wait for Spring!
